As part of the central hardware power engineering group, you will collaborate with various functions like Hardware Design and Test, ASIC Design and Test, Power Engineering, Signal Integrity, EMC / EMI, and Mechanical Design, growing the breadth of your knowledge, designing power and delivering outstanding products to the market. Your Impact As a Power Hardware Engineering Leader, you will lead a high performing team that designs and develops highly reliable Power solutions for Cisco's networking products. These products range from 10W IP phones to 3000W+ Data Center and Service Provider switches and routers. Leads power architecture and design across multiple platforms, managing a team of 6-8 engineers Builds, mentors, and develops high-performing teams and future leaders Defines and drives power architecture and strategy in alignment with global direction Leads complex problem-solving across multiple products Balances performance, cost, and scalability across product lines Leverages breadth and depth of knowledge to make recommendations to products and mandate process improvements, with a focus on operational efficiency Manages product, solution and/or system level trade-offs and design decisions Leads discussions with customers to explain solutions, gather feedback, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure feedback is reflected in design decisions
