Staff Mechanical Engineer Sunnyvale About Ceribell Ceribell is a medical technology company focused on transforming the diagnosis and management of patients with serious neurological conditions. Position Description: Ceribell is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support our core research and product development activities. The ideal candidate should have a solid technical background, analytical mindset, excellent interpersonal communications, and be team-oriented. This role will assist in implementing mechanical designs, conducting verification/validation/reliability tests, completing documentation and participating in DFX. This role is hybrid and requires 3-5 days in our Sunnyvale offices. What you'll achieve - Serve as the technical lead for cross-functional projects - Drive strategic engineering projects - Help define product features, requirements, and mechanical assembly Develop detailed mechanical designs that meet user requirements and regulatory requirements with a focus on size, cost, time to market, and quality targets - Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team for new products to ensure successful product bring-up - Work with external testing laboratories for product compliance and certification - Participate in manufacturing transfer and pilot manufacturing activities - Participate in risk management activities - Work with Quality
