Area Vice President Chesterbrook, PA, US Position Summary The Area Vice President (AVP) leads the operations of a geographical area, driving P&L, strategy, and growth in waste collection and landfill operations. This role centers on operational excellence, safety, and strong client relations, ensuring consistent performance across all lines of business. The incumbent will focus on cost optimization through new technologies, vendor management, and sustainable practices while managing regional teams, upholding regulatory compliance, and overseeing significant P&L responsibility in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Develops and executes regional strategies for growth, efficiency, sustainability, and market expansion. Manages the Profit & Loss (P&L), budgeting, forecasting, revenue maximization, and cost control of a geographical area. Oversees daily operations, logistics (transporting and processing), and implements best practices for collection, sorting, and disposal. Maintains key client programs, negotiates contracts, and builds strong relationships with generators and processors. Provides leadership to team members through effective communication, establishing clear goals and objectives, coaching team members on goal achievement, and ensuring access to training and development opportunities that assist employees in attaining the necessary skills to achieve desired team and organizational results.
