Regional Acute Care CMO | Based in FL or SC West Palm Beach, FL, US Opportunity Details Universal Health Services, Inc (UHS), one of largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services in the U.S., is seeking an accomplished Chief Medical Officer to serve as Regional Chief Medical Officer . The position is remote, based in Florida or South Carolina, and supports the Southeast Region of the Acute Care Division. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer of the Acute Care Division and in collaboration with the Southeast Regional Vice President, facility CEOs within the region, and the division quality team, the Regional Chief Medical Officer is responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality, safe patient care and superior experience for patients and their families. Position Summary: Provide leadership and expertise in clinical alignment, quality, clinical effectiveness, safety, medical staff operations, resource utilization, and physician leadership development Provide input for and oversee the successful execution and universal adoption of the UHS Acute Care Division Quality Program Provide guidance to medical staffs, MECs, and medical staff services teams within the region on physician governance issues, ensuring compliance with medical staff bylaws and policies impacting the medical staff and clinical care Participate with hospital leaders in formulating strategic planning and accomplishing institutional goals and objectives while serving as a liaison between the medical staff and administration Position Requirements
