Government Relations Manager United States Government Relations Manager United States Posted Sunday, May 17, 2026 PURPOSE: This position is responsible for managing effective working relationships with Montana (and where appropriate Pacific Northwest regional) government agencies and officials at the municipal, county and state level. The incumbent will also represent Calumet Montana Refining (CMR) and Montana Renewables (MRL) on key business and trade groups. The position exists to enhance the Company's reputation in these stakeholder communities through advocacy and outreach, and scope includes all aspects of the Company's business interests including economic development. The position will report to the EVP, Montana/Renewables and will coordinate closely with Calumet's communications and investor relations functions. KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish productive, positive and effective relationships with Montana government leaders. Represent CMR/MR in various economic development opportunities including Chambers of Commerce and Economic Development groups. Assist in the establishment of position papers for consistent and appropriate company messages. Identify strengths and challenges in each community. Represent CMR/MR at public meetings and forums. Develop and/or present informational presentations to governmental and civic groups. Identify emerging community issues before they become a concern for the Company. Increase CMR/MR presence, stressing positive corporate citizenship. Communicate company initiatives and our business strategies to stakeholders. Provide draft press releases to Corporate Communications on activities. Manage issues where there is real or potential conflict between CMR/MR and community position.
