The Role Block is seeking Senior Litigation Counsel to join a team that's responsible for the company's most complex, high-profile litigation and regulatory enforcement matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who combines sharp strategic judgment with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach, and who thrives in a fast-moving yet highly collaborative environment. You will play a key role in shaping litigation and enforcement strategy across a diverse portfolio of matters impacting Block's ecosystem of products and services. You Will Lead strategy for significant litigation and regulatory enforcement matters from pre-litigation through resolution Advise senior leadership on legal risk, enforcement trends, and business impact, particularly in areas affecting fintech, payments, and data use Manage and partner closely with outside counsel to drive high-quality, efficient outcomes Personally engage on critical aspects of matters, including legal strategy, discovery, and key filings Handle complex disputes across areas such as class
