Position Overview: As a Quality Technician , you will be a member of the Quality Assurance Team, reporting to a Quality Supervisor or Manager. You will contribute to the success of Ball by inspecting in-process or finished products for quality; based on Ball internal specifications and will advise production on results. The Glendale plant is a high-volume, fast-paced 24/7-365 days/year manufacturing environment. Our crews work 4 days on 4 days off, rotating from days to nights every 32 days (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am). Your Key Responsibilities Include: Follow all job safety practices and policies including but not limited to: food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc. Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on inspection equipment, as needed. Routinely use measuring tools (such as: calliper gauges, micrometres). Advise production when inspection results do not meet customer specifications. Maintain a safe and clean workspace according to 5S standards. Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding
