About this role
Quality Specialist US MS Tupelo Plt NA03 As a Quality Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting manufacturing process and product quality by learning and applying Goodyear standards and procedures in collaboration with experienced team members. This role builds foundational technical knowledge by applying existing solutions, monitoring process performance, and ensuring work is completed within established quality guidelines. You will support continuous improvement through participation in plant optimization, problem-solving activities, and effective root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Through collaboration across teams, this position contributes to meeting customer requirements, maintaining compliance, and delivering high-quality results that support overall business objectives. What You'll Do Learn and apply technical standards, procedures, and quality guidelines to support product and process quality requirements. Collaborate across teams to improve quality systems, process capability, and ensure appropriate risk management practices are followed. Use standard problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making tools to address well-defined issues and support business needs. Document completed work using appropriate tools, while contributing creative and innovative ideas to improve results. Execute assigned tasks and projects using basic project management and planning tools, ensuring timely and quality delivery. Support project initiation, planning, and execution activities while developing an understanding of project risk management and business impact. What We're Looking For Bachelors degree or 5 years relevant experience. What Will Set You Apart Demonstrated ability to apply systematic problem solving tools and techniques.
