About this role
Staff Technical Program Manager, Developer Productivity New York City We're hiring a Technical Program Manager to drive the evolution of software development at Asana. You'll lead programs spanning developer productivity, AI adoption, framework migration, and quality, partnering with teams across R&D to understand pain points and rollout solutions. This role combines technical depth in areas like software design, AI, system architecture, design systems with strong collaboration skills to orchestrate work across Engineering, Design, and Product teams. Your work ensures our software development team can leverage the best in AI development tooling, pushing the boundaries on development velocity while maintaining the intuitive, delightful experiences that make our product special. This role will be based in our New York City office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you'll achieve: - Lead engineering programs including AI development tooling adoption, frameworks migrations, technical and product quality, and delivery capabilities that enable our R&D teams to continuously improve our product for our customers - Partner across R&D teams to translate engineering and R&D pain points into development tooling plans, facilitate technical decisions, and build alignment between Developer Productivity, Infrastructure, and Product Engineering. - Create visibility and accountability by managing developer
