Shipping and Receiving Associate Work Location (Country) United States | Remote/Onsite Onsite The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for the accurate preparation, handling, and transportation of materials and products in support of company operations. This role ensures timely and safe delivery and pickup of shipments, compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and adherence to established safety, quality, and documentation standards. The position involves coordinating shipping and receiving activities, operating company vehicles and warehouse equipment, resolving shipment discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records. The Shipping and Receiving Associate supports efficient logistics operations by following assigned routes and schedules, selecting cost‑effective shipping methods, and promptly reporting safety concerns or irregularities. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support departmental objectives. Essentail Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare packages for shipping and delivery Loading, unloading and operation of company vehicle in a safe manner Follow route and time schedule Delivery and pick up of products and material Coordinate pick-up and delivery paperwork Follow DOT Regulations and safety standards Prepares shipments for postal or commercial conveyance; determines most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery.
