About this role
Temp-Warehouse Associate Wilmington, OH, United States POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Associate handles receipts from carriers, unpacks and checks the condition and content of deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips, and distributes materials to end users. This individual will coordinate corrections of shipment errors through Purchasing. Other duties may be assigned by the Manager. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Ensuring the security, tracking, and accountability of materials and goods required for inventory control of controlled and non-controlled items. Data input into the SAP system for receiving / shipping of controlled /non-controlled and DEA Controlled Materials, quarantining materials, and transferring material to and from Manufacturing into released materials and shipments. Physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials for all departments. Maintain adherence to established protocols and applicable SOPs for shipping / receiving, and recognize and correct deviations from those protocols and procedures. Ensuring all cGMP material receipts are handled in accordance with applicable FDA/DEA and cGMP procedures and properly segregated in the warehouse. Maintaining security and tracking of all controlled substance and regulated materials receipts and / or shipments. Ensuring all receipts, transfers, and shipments are promptly entered into SAP in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures. Coordinating with end users and vendors for returned shipments. Performing accurate Cycle Counts and investigations into errors that are found. QUALIFICATIONS Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required. Must be extremely service and internal customer oriented.
