Second Shift - Mechanical Assembler B Work Location (Country) United States | Remote/Onsite Onsite Description: The Mechanical Assembler - B Level is responsible for performing intermediate-level mechanical assembly tasks in support of the production of diamond turning machines. This role involves assembling precision mechanical components, subassemblies, and sytems used in high-accuracy diamond turning equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly within a precision manufacturing environment and be comfortable working with tight tolderances, detailed documentation, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand tools, torque drivers, and precision measuring instruments including gage amplifiers, calipers and micrometers. Follow detailed blueprints, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly. Perform alignment, calibration, and functional testing of mechanical assemblies. Handle and install sensitive components with care and precision. Maintain documentation of assembly processes, including travelers, inspection records, and non-conformance reports. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve assembly issues and improve processes. Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and quality standards in a controlled manufacturing environment. Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
