We are seeking a Precision Assembler to join our Operations team in Rochester, NY. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform functional and optical testing of interferometers using precision metrology tools. Follow detailed manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and quality standards. Maintain cleanroom protocols and ensure contamination control during all assembly processes. Collaborate with engineering to support process development, validation, and continuous improvement. Document work performed with extreme attention to detail. Maintain traceability of components and assemblies. Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues. Maintain required training certifications and adhere to safety and quality. REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: High School Diploma or GED 3-5 years of hands-on production manufacturing/operations Solid mathematical aptitude Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including Bill of Material (BOM), schematics and optical layouts Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail to handle
