As an OpticsTechnician on our 3rd Shift laser fusion team, you will play a hands-on role in building and enabling high-performance optical components that contribute directly to technologies with the power to transform global energy, sustainability, and scientific discovery. Our work supports breakthrough applications, including laser fusion technologies that are helping unlock a new era of safe, abundant, and low‑carbon energy for the world. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manufacture and clean laser fusion optics in accordance with established best practices. Perform manual and ultrasonic cleaning, inspection, and handling of optical components. Load components onto standard, custom, or improvised fixtures and operate optics manufacturing equipment (example: grinder, polisher, chemical baths, CNC etc.). Collaborate with engineering to develop and optimize optics manufacturing processes. Operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure product quality. Support t
