As an OpticsTechnician on our 3rd Shift laser fusion team, you will play a hands-on role in building and enabling high-performance optical components that contribute directly to technologies with the power to transform global energy, sustainability, and scientific discovery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manufacture and clean laser fusion optics in accordance with established best practices. Perform manual and ultrasonic cleaning, inspection, and handling of optical components. Load components onto standard, custom, or improvised fixtures and operate optics manufacturing equipment (example: grinder, polisher, chemical baths, CNC etc.).
