Analytical Engineer Work Location (Country) United States | Remote/Onsite Onsite The Analytical Engineer is responsible for introducing new heat transfer products to our organization by leading their development and improvement. This role requires rigorous application of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, mechanical design, and structural mechanics principles while adhering to manufacturing, testing, and quality best practices. The Analytical Engineer will engage in problem-solving daily and must have a rounded technical skillset with exceptional attention to detail. Duties and Responsibilities: Size and conceptually design heat exchangers and heat transfer components to fulfill customer requirements, making reasonable assumptions when necessary Perform critical thermal and structural analyses of complex aerospace hardware through hand calculations, in-house software, and commercial analysis packages Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure manufacturability and quality Provide heat exchanger core details to the design and estimating departments Review and approve design and test procedure changes Liaise with customer on heat exchanger requirements Compile and present results in a clear manner Generate technical reviews and other engineering documentation Support proposals and new product initiatives Support disposition of technical issues which occur during manufacturing Support customer reviews and inbound requests Required Skills and Abilities: Expertise in heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and structural mechanic
