About this role

Sr. Partner Manager, Payments , LATAM Payments , Payment Business Operation Latam Mexico City, Mexico City, MEX We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join Amazon Latin America Payments Team to lead our partnership initiatives. This is a crucial role for improving the payment experience for Amazon customers shopping on Latin America through strategic partnerships with schemes, acquirers and financial institutions. You will develop and execute partnership strategies with banks, financial institutions, payment networks, and service providers to enhance Amazon Latin America countries payment offerings. Your expertise in credit card programs will be instrumental in connecting with Acquirers, Issuers and Local Banks to address opportunities that increase customer access through best-in-class performance and approval rates. Key job responsibilities * Secure, sign-up, and manage working relationships with payment partners such as acquirers, issuers, networks (Visa, MasterCard, Amex), and Third Party Providers to enhance payment offerings across Latin America. * Negotiate and finalize business contracts with banking partners, ensuring optimal experience for Amazon Latin America customers while maintaining high standards of service quality. * Monitor and analyze partnership performance metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement that balance protection efficacy with regional business impact. * Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Tech, Legal, Finance) to align partnership goals with overall business objectives and drive improvements based on data and metrics. * Develop and maintain communication strategies for partners while staying informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the payments space.
