About this role

Sr. Compensation Consultant, AWS LATAM, International Compensation Arlington, Virginia, USA Amazon's Compensation team is seeking a Sr. Compensation Consultant to provide strategic compensation support to the AWS organization throughout Latin America. Key job responsibilities • Partner with HR leadership and teams to develop and implement compensation strategies for multiple functional areas within AWS. • Deliver on projects including program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of new programs. • Write detailed and compelling papers to articulate the findings and recommendations from your analysis to a non-technical audience. • Perform deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives and future programs. • Partner with regional and global compensation partners on local, regional or global issues, and work on a variety of special compensation projects as needed. • Provide advice to the business and develop creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues including the setting of appropriate pay levels, base pay, annual incentive pay and stock compensation. • Consult with business on job evaluations using market data and internal evaluation. • Document processes and build compensation playbooks. • Conduct custom surveys with key industry contacts, as needed. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of finance, compensation or consulting experience - 5+ years of Human Resources, Compensation Management or Consulting experience - Knowledge of Excel and Peoplesoft - Knowledge of compensation compliance with state and federal laws - Bachelor's degree or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge and experience in LATAM Amazon is an equal opportunity
