We are looking for a highly driven, entrepreneurial, and customer-obsessed individual to drive business development and manage strategic OEM relationships with leading Japanese automotive manufacturers including Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, and Subaru. Based in Tokyo, you will be the on-the-ground business development leader for Japan, working closely with the global Amazon Smart Vehicles team to close durable, long-term opportunities with Japanese automotive manufacturers. You'll be at the forefront of connecting innovative genAI voice experiences with Japan's leading OEMs, helping them accelerate their technological capabilities and digital transformations. Key job responsibilities • Drive business development strategy and execution for Japanese automotive OEMs including Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, and other key manufacturers • Build and maintain deep relationships with Japanese OEM decision-makers and C-level executives, navigating complex organizational structures and cultural nuances • Manage large-scale OEM relationships in Japan, coordinating across global headquarters and regional offices • Execute deal strategies to close long-term partnerships with top Japanese automotive manufacturers, leading complex commercial negotiations involving multi-year licensing agreements • Provide regular business status updates and deal
