Do you want to innovate and optimize the way packages get delivered to the customers? Are you equally comfortable digging in to business requirements as drilling into architecture and design with development teams? Last mile is a term used in supply chain management and transportation planning to describe the movement of goods from a transportation hub to a final destination in the home. The final transportation hub situated nearest to the customer is referred to as Delivery Station which is responsible for the final Customer interactions (Delivery and Pickup of return packages). Over last couple of years, AMZL (Amazon Logistics) delivery stations have grown organically to cater to multiple use cases across different geographies. OPTIMUS will own the overall execution workflow in the delivery stations and build a unified set of tools/systems for efficient execution of the delivery station operations. Keeping in view the emerging models of AMZL operations (Standardized Operations, Get Close, Asset Lite, Intelligent, Continuous Flow) the team will drive standardization, automation of the processes through technology and build the systems with responsive UI, security, localization and externalization from day-1. To support the rapid growth of AMZL OPTIMUS team will enable one-click setup for default station configurations, and to cater to full spectrum of use-cases will provide self-serve station setup capability with the ability to allow pick and choose of services
