To support this, Amazon is seeking an exceptional and strategic people manager to serve as a JPFC Sr. Regional WHS Manager for our customer fulfillment centers JPFC. The JPFC Sr. Regional WHS Manager will be primarily responsible for managing all health and safety related matters across our customer fulfillment centers JPFC. They will implement company safety policies and ensure compliance with all applicable local and regional regulations. By leveraging lean principles and kaizens, this individual will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce WHS risks in our processes to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for our Associates and Contractors. They must demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and influence change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis. The JPFC Sr Regional WHS Manager must be an effective communicator and send clear, concise, and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing. This individual must instruct and train Operations Leaders on company safety policies and assist the regional teams in incorporating our safety standards at their sites. They will be required to identify best practices and incorporate them into our standards to continuously improve company safety policies. They will be required to possess excellent safety program knowledge as well
