About this role

Senior HW Dev Engineer , Customer Terminal Redmond, Washington, USA Amazon LEO is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon LEO will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be a part of the team working on the development of advanced Customer Terminal products. You will own or contribute to the following: - Design high-speed digital and/or RF circuitry in collaboration with various teams - Design and optimization of different blocks of electronics sub-systems - Schematic capture and lead PCB layout - Design DC/DC power supply and Point of Load - Support flow-down requirement definitions and generate test plans/procedures - Board bring-up and perform test campaigns of modules and subsystems - Support design of automated test systems, test fixtures and factory test - Support the transition of the designs to mass production Key job responsibilities - Develop innovative customer terminal hardware architectures with partner teams. - Schematic generation & review. - Guide board layout through ok2fab. - Support integrated product team as the EE hardware single threaded owner. - Lead hardware validation for your designs & present to Director level leadership. - Support factory team, help debug issues on the line, and
