From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. The Senior Design Verification Engineer will be a member of the Avionics team, focusing on the design verification of the various electrical functions of high-performance communication systems. They will focus on PCB Assembly design verification and will be taking designs from subsystem testing and initial build, through functional testing and system performance validation. They will write and execute design verification plans for power and signal integrity verification for standard and custom communication interfaces between Integrated circuits and circuit boards. They will ensure proper data collection, reviews, and demonstrate the system requirement verification. They will be part of a multidisciplinary avionics design team and work closely with PCBA design engineers, harness engineers, FPGA and embedded SW developers as well as system and integration engineers.
