About this role
Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE), Alexa Smart Properties Bengaluru, Karnataka, IND Amazon's Alexa Smart Properties (ASP) team is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) to support quality validation across our enterprise Alexa ecosystem. ASP delivers Alexa-powered experiences in hospitality, senior living, healthcare, and other commercial environments - and our QAEs play a vital role in ensuring these experiences are reliable, consistent, and enterprise-ready. As a QAE on the ASP team, you will execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing across ASP cloud services and device experiences, contribute to certification and compliance validation efforts, and develop test cases and documentation that support the broader quality engineering organization. You will work closely with senior QAEs, SDETs, and engineering teams to grow your quality engineering skills while making meaningful contributions to ASP's quality goals. Key job responsibilities •Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for ASP cloud services, device experiences, and enterprise partner-facing features •Develop and maintain clear, thorough, and reusable test cases and test documentation under the guidance of senior QAEs and QA leadership •Identify, document, and triage defects with clear reproduction steps, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive timely resolution •Partner with SDET and automation teams to provide well-structured manual test cases that serve as blueprints for automation development •Collaborate with SDET and automation teams to translate manual test cases into automated regression suites, driving measurable improvements in automation coverage •Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of certification readiness checklists and partner-facing quality documentation •Validate accessibility features and support
