About this role
Process Engineer PM , Process Engineering Tokyo, JPN Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is building a world-class last mile operation in Japan. AMZL aims to exceed customer expectations by ensuring orders are delivered quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively. The Amazon Logistics Japan Process Engineering team is seeking a Process Engineer to support program management, operational planning, and engineering project tracking. In this role, you will be the operational backbone of our engineering organization, driving visibility, accountability, and execution excellence across multiple engineering functions. The successful candidate will lead the creation and delivery of business reviews (MBRs, QBRs), operational planning cycles (OP1, OP2, 3YF), and implement robust tracking mechanisms for engineering projects. You will work closely with Process Engineering teams to ensure project commitments are tracked, cost savings are measured, and CAPEX requirements are managed effectively. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels. You will use tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, Excel, and other project management platforms to maintain real-time visibility of project status, risks, and dependencies. This role is based in Tokyo. The position requires business-level English and conversational Japanese. Domestic and international travel may be required (approximately 10-15% of work time). Key job responsibilities 1.
