About this role

Planning Program Manager, Ultrafast delivery Tokyo, JPN Amazon is seeking a Program Manager for Long-Term Planning to architect the future of our ultra-fast delivery network. In this role, you will own the strategic roadmap for our network, determining launch planning, how our Under-the-Roof (UTR) and On-the-Road (OTR) operations must evolve, how to optimize channel strategies to balance speed with cost-efficiency. You will be the bridge between high-level business strategy and operational reality. Key job responsibilities -Capacity & Resource Planning Strategy: Lead long-term labor and throughput planning ensuring the network can handle growth. -Channel & Delivery Strategy: Develop and refine channel distribution strategies between dedicated fleets and 3P partners to ensure "On-the-Road" (OTR) scalability during peak surges. -Strategic Feature Roadmap: Partner with Tech and Product teams to define the requirements for next-generation planning tools, such as automated routing systems and AI-driven inventory placement. -Own the "Cost-to-Serve" roadmap. Identify long-term structural improvements that drive down the cost per shipment through better topology and density. About the team We are establishing new benchmarks in ultra-fast delivery service.
