Machine Learning Engineer II, EU INTech - Exports, Emerging and Expansions Bengaluru, Karnataka, IND Are you obsessed with solving challenging problems? Do you have exceptional software engineering skills? Are you interested into Search Engine Technologies, Document Retrieval and Machine Learning? Are you constantly looking for ways to improve your skills, your software, and your organization? Amazon is looking for a passionate, talented, and inventive Machine Learning Engineer to join our E3 team. You will work with the largest online retail search application in the world, both in terms of users, catalogue size, and computing resources, and your work will directly impact millions of customers. You will collaborate with recognized experts in science and engineering to apply algorithms and ML models. You will: - Work on projects in Machine Learning in Search space to create highly innovative customer experiences; - Process and analyze large amounts of data to discover patterns, find opportunities, and contribute to seize these opportunities; - Work closely with Machine Learning experts to validate models via statistically rigorous experiments across millions of customers; - Work closely with Scientists to build scalable prototypes for testing. Integrate successful models and algorithms in production systems at very large scale; - Work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done; Our team is spread across Luxembourg, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. Basic Qualifications: - 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience with data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and/or object-oriented design
