About this role

Finance Manager, AWS SMGS Ops Seattle, Washington, USA As a Finance Manager, you'll partner with sales, data teams, and finance leaders to develop analytical insights, financial models, and story-telling narratives. This role requires problem-solving to navigate ambiguous projects where you and your team will define the problem space, establish frameworks, and create structure from complexity and incomplete data. Key job responsibilities - Serve as a key finance partner supporting Sales Marketing & Global Services leaders providing financial support and business insights - Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed and present findings to senior management - Integrating AI into internal process and analysis - Interact and ensure alignment across several stakeholders across Finance and Business teams - Ownership of key reporting metrics (KPI's) and narratives to help business partners understand the business performance Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience - 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience - 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience - 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience - 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience - Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative
