About this role
Channel & Program Leader, Japan Gift Cards, Japan Gift Cards Tokyo, JPN Amazon Gift Cards is a fast growing business which significantly contributes to the company's profitability. The Gift Card (GC) team is responsible for creating and enhancing GC-related products that are sold globally through a variety of channels including the Amazon website, businesses, retail stores, and other partnerships. . Amazon's Corporate clients utilize our physical gift cards and/or e-codes to change and reinforce behaviors as part of promotional marketing campaigns, HR programs such as employee rewards and incentives, payment disbursements, and much more. We are looking for an experienced business leader with project/program management skills to lead one or more product lines of the gift cards business in Japan. This position is responsible for growing the business through marketing, business development & technology. It's also responsible for a full P&L, planning/execution to raise customer awareness of Amazon gift cards and driving innovation for customers. You will be are responsible for working at the most senior level within the gift card and payment organization and setting up the strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. The position requires strong relationship management skills and a growth mindset. Analysis of business priorities and results while consistently delivering improved customer experiences is a must. Further responsibilities include the analysis of the competitive market space and business needs, providing input into product requirements, execution of the sales strategy set by local and global team, and providing support to your team in achieving its
