As a Solutions Engineer, you'll join the early team as the technical bridge between our platform and our customers. This is not a traditional customer success role - you'll operate as a technical owner of customer outcomes, deeply embedded in both our product and our customers' data, systems, and workflows. What you will do - own the technical success of a portfolio of accounts and translate customer goals into concrete, working solutions within the Subsets platform. - work hands-on with data and models: build, validate, and deploy ML-driven features such as propensity models and churn signals, and ensure reliable data flows across integrations (Braze, Sailthru, and others). - bridge product and engineering: validate the feasibility of use cases, prototype new solutions, identify product gaps, and take care of bugs. - partner closely with our Lifecycle Engineer(s), who lead the client relationship, while you own the technical part. - work in a lean, high-performing team where you will have a significant impact and assume high levels of responsibility. Tech stack: Python, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, dbt, PostgreSQL At times, you'll work directly in our codebase - reading code, debugging, and fixing across real customer data pipelines. What you will do - work directly with the founding team and our software engineers. - design, develop, and manage our scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. - monitor and optimize our current data pipelines (we are moving a lot of data!). - work in a lean, high-performing team where you will have a significant impact on the product and assume numerous responsibilities. - bring your opinions and experiences on how to scale our current setup from 10+ customers to 100+ customers. As a Lifecycle Engineer, you'll join the early team to work hands-on with our platform and our clients. You will be owning, driving, and expanding adoption of the product across a portfolio of customers while helping to define what great customer outcomes look like as we scale. What you will do - work hands-on within the Subsets platform to build, optimise, and iterate on lifecycle campaigns and subscriber journeys alongside our clients. - help shape the structure and playbook of the customer team model as one of the first Lifecycle Engineers at Subsets - this is a defining role in how we scale. - own and manage a portfolio of 5-10 enterprise customers, acting as the primary point of contact responsible for adoption, business outcomes, and satisfaction of the client. - develop a deep understanding of each client's business, proactively identifying opportunities to drive growth and addressing challenges before they arise. - partner closely with a solutions engineer, who will handle technical escalations and integrations, so you can stay focused on strategy and outcomes. - work in a lean, high-performing team where you will have a significant impact and assume high levels of responsibility. This role sits between customers' data and our platform. You will be the person to architect and implement how customers' raw subscription data gets transformed into clean, trusted data models that power our platform and ML pipelines. What you will do - work directly with the founding team, our customers, and our data engineers. - own customer onboarding from a data perspective.
