As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a Technical Program Manager on the edge of our network, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our users in EMEA can access Google's content and services with optimal quality and performance, and with optimal economics for Google. In this role, you will manage multiple projects with a high degree of complexity and scope, work closely with partner teams to determine project priorities, resolve scheduling issues, and negotiate solutions to problems. You will have the ability to demonstrate independence, creativity, and initiative that permits your work to be accepted and trusted by upper management and cross-functional teams globally. Your impact will be landed through both the decision-making and cross-functional project management of infrastructure deployment, and through longer term growth initiatives such as automation, new platform introduction and profound data analysis. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
