What you'll do As a System Integration Engineer - Antenna Installation, you will play a hands-on role in the integration, installation, and testing of Viasat's advanced Remote Sensing Antenna Systems and Satellite Communications Terminals. You'll be a key member of a team responsible for bringing complex antenna systems to life-both at our facilities and at customer sites. The day-to-day Lead or assist in the on-site installation and mechanical assembly of large-scale antenna systems, ensuring proper alignment, structure integrity, and system functionality Integrate and connect system components, including cabling, RF, and network interfaces, according to design documentation Reference an Indentured Drawing List (IDL) and corresponding Bill of Materials (BOM) to support installation planning and logistics Set up and operate specialized test equipment for antenna system validation Participate in customer site visits, where you will be the on-site representative of Viasat-ensuring installation quality and maintaining strong customer relationships Support network setup and configuration tasks necessary to bring installed systems online Prepare and present technical reports summarizing installation results and any corrective actions taken Assist in the refinement of installation
