About this role

Manufacturing Engineer Saltillo, Mississippi Overview Provides tooling, equipment, process design, and ability to produce reviews, Lean leadership and other technical support for manufacturing processes in the Tupelo facility. Responsibilities Identify and implement Manufacturing process improvements and upgrades where appropriate. May develop Capital Expense Requests and Proposals for submittal. Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing to meet customer deliveries. Identify and implement Waste Reduction solutions as part of Continuous Improvement program. Participate on and implement preventive actions recommended by the Hazard Elimination Team. Lead selected Kaizen events to reduce waste and improve process flow. Conduct production/manufacturing reviews to ensure product designs are producible and cost effective. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical) required. Five or more years of experience providing technical support in a metal fabrication environment. Training and certification as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills. Capable of leading focused Kaizen teams in Continuous improvement projects. Proficient with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD and MS Office applications. Identify and implement Manufacturing process improvements and upgrades where appropriate. May develop Capital Expense Requests and Proposals for submittal.
