Applications Engineer Lebanon, Ohio Overview KADANT BLACK CLAWSON LLC (KBC) is an established leader in equipment and systems for the international pulp and paper process industries. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is located in Lebanon, OH, where we design and manufacture our products for customers across the globe. We currently seek to fill the position of Applications Engineer to provide engineering services relating to quotation development, pre- and post-sales support, and process audits and optimization, all while advancing KBC's mission of being a forward-thinking, collaborative, and ethical business. This position would be based in our office in Lebanon, OH (office hours are M-F 8 AM to 5 PM or similar schedule). Position also travels approx. 40-50%. Responsibilities Travels to provide engineering support for sales presentations, system audits, mill surveys, system start-ups, and trouble-shooting assignments. Acts as the applications lead for capital projects with up to three unit operations. Handles systems technology questions from Sales & Marketing personnel, as well as calls from customers. Analyzes customers' technical requirements/specifications, conducts feasibility checks, and translates project requirements into costing and customer offer. Prepares additional content as required for proposals; organizes all proposal information and prepares proposals.
