Senior Platform Engineer Tel Aviv Via is using technology to transform transportation around the world. As a Senior Platform Engineer at Via, you'll join our R&D center in TLV. You'll be part of a team of developers and devops engineers, directly contributing to our product by using cutting-edge technologies. You'll take a critical part in our mission to shape the future of transportation, affecting tens of thousands of riders daily worldwide. The Platform Group is a cross-functional group dedicated to building and maintaining the robust foundation on which Via operates. This team is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD systems, and tools that empower our development and production environments. With a focus on enhancing developer experience, operational efficiency, and reliability, the team drives initiatives that: - Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. - Develop and maintain Kubernetes clusters and related tools, ensuring high availability and performance. - Manage edge gateways, WAF solutions, and other critical infrastructure components. - Define and enforce CI/CD standards to streamline development and delivery workflows - Build tools and automation to enhance productivity across engineering teams. - Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of production infrastructure. What You'll Do: - Define infrastructure standards for dev teams - Design, implement and develop tools for controlling infrastructure of micro services - Build CI/CD automation and templates with GitLab - Build, maintain and operate
