We are seeking a senior attorney to serve in the position of Director and Senior Corporate Counsel reporting to the Senior Director and Senior Corporate Counsel. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, negotiate and advise on a variety of complex commercial agreements (e.g., inbound and outbound technology licenses, service agreements, co-marketing and co-branding agreements and software and SaaS agreements) - Provide strategic legal advice to the Law Department and senior business unit leaders regarding Verisign's registry and product and marketing businesses. The Director role will advise on contract interpretation and risk, policies and regulations related to Verisign's registry business, new product initiatives, advertising content and agreements, customer contract issues and marketing programs - Understand and leverage internal and external resources to ensure compliance with U.S. and international laws and regulations related to Verisign's products and advertising, as well as Verisign's top level domain registry operations - Ensure members of the Law Department are apprised of material developments and matters on a timely basis - Operate in an open and collaborative manner as a
