About this role

Mortgage Compliance Licensing Specialist Pontiac, MI, US The Senior Licensing Specialist will be responsible for all of UWM's mortgage lender licenses in all 50 states. This individual will need to be familiar with state regulatory agency requirements and statutory law governing mortgage lenders and financial institutions. This individual will manage all company licensing functions within NMLS, including company (MU1), branch (MU3) and individual filings, as well as managing all requirements pertaining to control persons, qualified individuals and mortgage loan originators. This individual will be responsible for researching state-specific licensing and NMLS requirements in order to obtain, maintain, and renew various mortgage lender and/or consumer credit licenses. The Senior Licensing Specialist will also be responsible for conducting audits of UWM's licenses, surety bonds, reporting processes and other licensing related matters. The ideal candidate should be very familiar with the mortgage lending process and have mortgage licensing experience. The Senior Licensing Specialist reports to the Deputy General Counsel and will work closely with UWM's Finance, Risk, and Compliance teams.
