Software Engineering Manager Vilnius What success looks like in this role: Leads a small team of software engineers building cloud services and internal platform capabilities. Provides hands-on technical leadership across architecture, design reviews, code reviews, development, and operational readiness. Creates and reviews technical assessments, high-level requirements, design proposals, and implementation plans. Collaborates with architects, product stakeholders, and engineering teams to define technical direction and delivery plans. Drives execution through planning, prioritization, coordination, and removal of delivery blockers. Improves engineering practices across testing, deployment, automation, observability, reliability, and maintainability. Coaches engineers through feedback, technical mentoring, career development, and performance guidance. Defines and monitors team success metrics related to delivery, quality, and engineering effectiveness. You will be successful in this role if you have: Proven experience shipping commercial software or building production cloud services. Ideally first experience in leading or managing software engineering teams or equivalent technical leadership experience. Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and service-based or microservices architectures. Strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, observability, testing, and operationally reliable software delivery.
