About this role
Senior Test Analyst Wellington, New Zealand Wellington, New Zealand What success looks like in this role: Applies advanced knowledge of testing principles, methodologies and techniques to test and ensure software / platform quality. Works with engineering teams to define testing strategies for new and existing applications. Develops and executes functional, integration and system tests. Develops and executes load, scalability and performance tests. Designs and develops test plans and test cases based on functional and design specifications. Reviews code for accuracy and quality. Takes the lead on difficult defect detection, problem solving and troubleshooting. Detects problems where standard practice and / or software has failed to meet client requirements. Addresses escalated technical defects identified by less experienced team members. Leads team members in writing of scripts, expected results, test results and defect descriptions. Assists in driving organizational activities / initiatives.
