Network Engineer - Hibrido Monterrey Monterrey, NL, Mexico Monterrey, NL, Mexico What success looks like in this role: Network Engineer with solid expertise in LAN, WAN, WLAN, along with specialized Cisco skills. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing modern, scalable network infrastructures, and providing network support for complex and high-availability systems, including security and cloud-based architectures. The ideal candidate should have experience in network and security projects within critical 24x7 environments, particularly in medium-to-large-scale enterprises. They will also have experience in managed services for network and security infrastructure, including datacenters, NOCs, and SOCs. This professional will serve as a client-facing expert, managing reports, and acting as the main point of contact for projects with clients and global vendors. Advanced troubleshooting skills are essential to resolve interoperability issues and ensure optimal performance across various platforms. Additionally, the role involves configuring systems, assisting with hardware/software acquisitions, and managing subcontracted services as needed. A broad technical understanding, including expertise in various network protocols, systems, and platforms, is key to success in this position. Network Design & Support: Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN). Support both remote and on-site for network issues, ensuring high network performance and security. Troubleshooting & Optimization: Handle troubleshooting across OSI layers and TCP, collaborating with manufacturers for escalations and issue resolutions. Client Interaction: Lead client-facing roles, delivering reports, presentations, and acting as the key contact for projects with clients and vendors.
