Position Overview: Mentors are industry professionals who provide world-class technical support to our learners in their Nanodegree journey. All our mentors are handpicked through a rigorous selection process so that we can truly be #studentfirst. As a mentor, you will be meeting virtually on a weekly basis with your students for community support, live office hours and other activities. Required skills/qualifications: - Fluency in English both written and spoken - Eligibility Requirements: Mentors must have at least 5 years of industry experience. Technical competence: - - Strong expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD) , including Pytest, scalable test strategies, and structured test suite design - Deep understanding of design patterns (creational, structural, behavioral) and their practical implementation in production systems - Proven experience designing microservices, multitier, cloud-native, and serverless architectures - Strong knowledge of caching strategies, CDN architecture, and data storage tradeoffs - Ability to create and interpret architecture diagrams
