Senior Atlassian Admin Chennai Toast creates technology to help restaurants and local businesses succeed in a digital world, helping business owners operate, increase sales, engage customers, and keep employees happy. Toast is looking for a Senior Atlassian Systems Administrator to serve as the primary steward and owner of our global collaborative ecosystem. You will be responsible for the end-to-end administration, configuration, and optimization of the entire Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Jira Product Discovery, etc). This role requires a blend of strong technical precision and strategic thinking to ensure our tools are seamlessly integrated, highly available, and tailored to support our agile development and business processes. A day in the life (Responsibilities) - System Administration : Execute day-to-day management of Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), & Jira Product Discovery, Loom. - Workflow Engineering: Design and maintain complex Jira workflows, issue types, custom fields, and automation rules to streamline cross-functional team operations. - Suite Integration : Optimize integrations between the Atlassian suite and third-party tools (e.g., Slack, GitHub, Miro, and CI/CD pipelines). - Performance & Maintenance : Coordinate application upgrades, patch management, and Marketplace app evaluations to ensure system stability. - Expert Advice & Troubleshooting: Partner with other Toasters on Atlassian best practices, to enable them to work better and smarter together. What you'll need to thrive (Requirements) - 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Atlassian Administrator (Cloud or Data Center environment). - Mastery across the "Full Suite"-Jira (Core/Software/JSM), Confluence, Loom, Jira Product Discovery.
