Purpose The welder will use specialized equipment to fabricate custom machinery for the automation industry. Essential Responsibilities Read prints, stage, setup, and fabricate weldments Majority of work is fabrication to print- almost no fixture work Follow and complete established quality control processes and procedures Document work (sign off on completed parts/prints) Weld a wide range of parts: 1/4" sheet metal up to 3" plate as well as structural steel tubes and beams - occasionally stainless steel Assist in maintaining equipment (Lincoln and Miller welders; Hydmech saw) Technical/Functi
