Alternate Company Security Officer Work Location Province Ontario|Alberta|British Columbia Join our team and what we'll accomplish together The TELUS Health Chief Security Office (CSO) is building a robust physical security program to protect our people, assets, and sensitive government contracts. As an Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO), you'll be a critical member of a growing team, working across CSO to ensure TELUS Health personnel have the correct government security clearances in place to perform their roles. This is a unique opportunity to make an immediate impact on security governance across TELUS Health. You'll work at the intersection of compliance, risk management, and operational security, supporting our government contract obligations while helping to standardize security controls across the organization. Your work directly enables TELUS Health to maintain trust with government partners and protect the integrity of sensitive operations. What you will do Lead and manage Government of Canada security clearance processes (Reliability level and above) for all TELUS Health personnel working on government contracts Serve as a primary point of contact for business units regarding security clearance requirements, timelines and status updates Guide team members through special clearance and screening processes, ensuring compliance with government and contractual requirements Facilitate vendor sponsorships and coordinate Document Safeguarding Capability (DSC) packages Support external audits and government inspections, including potential on-site visits
