Role Overview Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations, one of the world's largest producers of zinc concentrate, is recruiting for a Metallurgical Engineering Co-op. Rotation schedule will be 4 weeks on-site with 2 weeks off-site. Reporting to the Senior Metallurgist. Key Responsibilities • Assist the metallurgical engineers with their projects • Sample preparation in the Bucking Room of the Assay Lab • Conduct sludge testing and assist with the operation of the Water Treatment Plants • Collect water samples • Conduct flotation laboratory test work • Conduct small pilot plant tests • Calibrating moisture and sizing equipment • Small project test work • Performs other related duties as required Qualifications • Current college or university student working towards a degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering • Must be proficient in MS Office 2010 and Excel • Must
