STAFF SYSTEMS ENGINEER - Motion Control Engineer Job Country India At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. Job Overview • Own the precision motion control and machine control architecture for AOI systems inspecting & measuring high-density miniature connectors / complex assemblies of cables and connectors. • Design and integrate custom engineered motion systems synchronized with vision inspection. • Deliver high accuracy robotics and precision automation solutions. • Balance throughput, accuracy, and long-term reliability. • Act as the authority on motion systems for automated inspection & measurement. Key Responsibilities: Precision Motion Systems Architecture • Architect motion systems including: o Linear stages, rotary stages, multi-axis stages o Gantry systems, hexapods • Design precision motion control solutions using stages and actuators. • Support inspection platforms requiring micron-level repeatability. Motion Control, Drives & Feedback • Select and integrate motion drives, servo systems, and controllers. • Implement linear encoders and rotary encoders for closed-loop accuracy. • Perform motion simulation and trajectory optimization. • Tune servo systems for high-speed and high-accuracy inspection. Robotics & Precision Automation • Integrate high accuracy robotics where required. • Develop machine control logic for synchronized motion and inspection. • Support automated inspection motion engineering.
