Job Overview The EV Powertrain / Charging Field Application Engineer (FAE) leads traditional and new customer application activities with a specific focus on EV powertrain and charging systems. The role involves working directly with customers, product development, manufacturing, and sales to define requirements, develop solutions, and support product launches. Seeking new or unique product applications with a specific EV Powertrain & Charging Systems view. This includes eMotor, inverter, power electronic modules, DC/DC converter, on-board charger, climate control, and accessory markets. Key Responsibilities Develop accurate customer and cross‑functional requirements for EV powertrain and charging applications. Design and propose connectivity solutions supporting EV charging and power electronics systems. Support customer engineering evaluations, validation testing, and issue resolution. Act as the technical interface between customers, internal engineering, manufacturing, and product management teams. Provide technical training, customer presentations, and product demonstrations. Be a catalyst and contributor to innovation and technology pipeline road mapping. Support new product introductions, cost‑reduction programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
