3 Axis Machining Manufacturing & Process DVL Technician II Job Country United States At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. Job Overview This is a 1 st shift position in the TE Connectivity EPICenter. Depending on prior experience and skill level our technicians are expected to perform various machining, fitting and assembly operations to construct prototype dies, molds, assembly tooling, gages and other tools to prove out engineering concepts and produce sample products. Be able to set up and operate shop equipment such as lathe, milling machine, drill press and surface grinder to make or repair parts as needed. Take instruction from supervisor/engineer and be able to process work from a wide variety of materials with minimum assistance. Job Requirements Seeking a successful candidate with skills in at least one of the following: Basic Programing and operating CNC machines Basic Tool and Die making Able to use inspection equipment such as, but not limited to calipers, micrometers or vision systems. What your background should look like 0-2 year's Metal working or trade/ technical school is a plus. Metal working trade with demonstrated success working with sketches, rough drawings, as well as formal drawings. On the following: surface grinder vertical milling machine lathe Safety Basic computer skills: email, Word, Excel, time recording Must have basic knowledge and be able to interrupt working sketches and plan the sequence of operations to
