About this role
Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, Content Experiences Santa Monica, CA | Remote Tapcart is the leading mobile app platform for the world's fastest-growing Shopify brands. We help marketers and eCommerce teams strengthen their brands and create differentiated customer experiences through a direct mobile channel. Our platform powers mobile shopping for over 50 million consumers and processes more than $8 billion in revenue annually. Brands like Béis, Grove Collaborative, and Ruggable trust Tapcart to turn mobile traffic into high-retention, high-growth relationships - with mobile apps launched in hours, not months. THE ROLE As a Senior Software Engineer on the Content Team you will own our component library, UI blocks, and the in-app features used by millions of shoppers every day. You'll deliver work end-to-end from problem statements to production‑ready capabilities, design patterns, and architectures that keep our apps fast, scalable, and extensible, and collaborate with the other teams to surface new building blocks and deliver the next generation of AI-enhanced productivity for mobile app development. You'll be a true owner, from prototype to production, and work side‑by‑side with product, design, and solutions engineering, all while staying close to merchants to deliver value early and iterate quickly. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT - Design, ship, and maintain a reusable, type‑safe React/Next.js component system. - Prototype new UI and features in weekly sprints, validate with live merchants, and iterate to release to thousands of apps. - Optimize bundle size, server‑side rendering, client-side performance, and WCAG compliance. - Build tooling (CLI, CI pipelines, linting)
