About this role
Core Product Lead Remote Postgres has become the default data layer for AI-native applications, and Supabase is where most of those applications get built. The Core division owns the surfaces that make that possible: Postgres https://supabase.com/docs/guides/database/overview, Auth https://supabase.com/docs/guides/auth, Storage https://supabase.com/docs/guides/storage, Edge Functions https://supabase.com/docs/guides/functions, Realtime https://supabase.com/docs/guides/realtime, and the platform substrate they all run on. 7,000,000+ developers build on these products, from indie hackers shipping side projects to enterprises in regulated industries running production workloads. Every line a customer writes against Supabase lands on one of them. We're hiring a Core Product Lead to own the product strategy across Core. You'll manage the PMs who run each product, set the bets that decide what Core becomes over the next 12-18 months, and make the cross-product calls no individual PM can. The role reports to the Head of Product. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: - Build and develop the Core PM team. You'll manage the PMs across Platform, Databases, Auth, Storage, Functions, and Realtime. Hire into open seats, coach the PMs already on the team, run performance cycles, and make sure every product surface has an owner who can carry it. - Set the product strategy across Core. Decide where the bets are and how the products reinforce each other. Defend that agenda with the founders and the engineering leads who run each team. - Make the cross-product calls. The hardest prioritisation in Core sits between products. What Auth ships affects Databases. What Realtime needs from Postgres shapes the database roadmap. Own those
