This role helps maintain data quality, reinforces governance processes, documents standards, and assists both business and technical teams in applying consistent and responsible data practices. The Data Governance Specialist contributes to building trusted, well‑defined, and well‑managed data across the organization and plays a key role in helping teams understand and follow governance guidelines. In doing so, the role strengthens data quality, standardizes definitions and metrics, enhances accountability, and enables confident, data‑driven decision‑making enterprise‑wide. The Data Governance Specialist also serves as a champion for data governance, sustaining momentum, promoting best practices, and embedding governance principles into Sun's day‑to‑day operations. Job Duties Support the rollout and ongoing operation of Sun's data governance framework by assisting with documentation, process coordination, and communication activities.
